The following document outlines to how to get content published on our platform, and start earning! There are multiple methods for achieving this, and they are defined below.
Step 1. Create an account & bio
All users of the platform (both authors and consumers) need to have an account. Click the sign-up link at the top of the page to create an account. If you plan to author content, you will need to add a biography and headshot. Authors will have access to a dashboard that will show purchases as well as total revenue earned. This information is updated in realtime.
Step 2. Enter payee information
Our platform uses Stripe (A Wells Fargo Company) to manage payments to authors. From the "My-Account" page, you can create or link an existing stripe account, and add your banking information for deposits.
Step 3. Authoring content
We have 4 different methods for authoring content and publishing it on our platform.
- Record in-studio: Content is recorded in our studio.
- Record remotely: Content is recored remotely via our powerful remote broadcast platform.
- Self-recording: Content is produced directly by the author and uploaded to the platform.
- Live events: Users register for your event, broadcasted live at a specific date and time.
For the most professional looking videos possible, come to our studio. We have state-of-the-art equipment ranging from cameras, microphones, video switchers and presentation tools. Viewers of your content will be constantly engaged with multiple camera angles, zooming of slides and other artistic methodology that is sure not to disappoint!
For those users who want to have a professional talk produced, but are nowhere near our studio, they have the option of recording content remotely. We have advanced broadcast grade technology that allows users to feed audio, video and slides to our studio, into our mixers and produced into a high quality video.
For those users who want to produce the content themselves, or already have content produced, they can easily upload content to the platform, and it will be published once reviewed by our CEU team.
There are lots of options for live events. They can be done from our studio, remotely or we can come to you. We even do conferences! Once a live event is completed, it can instantly be converted to on-demand content and sold through our course library.
Step 4. Publish
Once your content is recorded and exists on the platform, it will be reviewed by our team for CEU eligibility. This process usually takes 24-48 hours. Once complete, it will be generally available for all of BehaviorLive's users!
Step 5. Earn
Whenever one of your courses or events are purchased, money is instantly transferred to your account (available for withdrawal within 2 business days) as follows:
- Record in-studio: 70% goes to BehaviorLive, 30% to the Author.
- Record remotely: 50% goes to BehaviorLive, 50% to the Author.
- Self-recording: 30% goes to BehaviorLive, 70% to the Author.
